I am a retired art teacher and have always enjoyed trying new mediums and techniques. I love to draw and paint the wonderful aspects of the creation of the divine Artist. It has been therapy for my soul to think about what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, and praiseworthy as I paint. Now, more than ever, my painting is keeping my heart and mind focused.
As a young student, an art teacher taught me copper tooling. Recently, I remembered that delightful project and taught this to various arty groups. I thought about combining that with my love for painting, and learned that artists have been painting on copper for centuries. Drawing into the copper, I have found something of my own that I love. I hope you enjoy these paintings just as much as I do.
